Pepnor syrup is a natural Jeerakaddarishta Carminative.
Dyspepsia or indigestion, abdominal colic, nausea, and anorexia are all symptoms that this syrup can help with. It also helps with diarrhea, false labor pain caused by gas, GI problems after delivery, and lactating mothers’ nutritional needs. It also aids in the treatment of reactive arthritis brought on by diarrhea or dysentery.
Pharmacology:
Cuminum cyminum contains volatile oil, primarily fatty oil (10-15%), fatty acids, petroselic acid, and palmitic acid. Cuminin and flavones are the main ingredients. Cumin’s fatty oil has antimicrobial properties. Mycelium growth and toxin production are both slowed. Volatile oil relaxes the entire gastrointestinal tract, reducing gas, bloating, and flatulence. It’s used to treat dyspepsia and diarrhea.
Recommended dosage:
1-2 teaspoonfuls (5-10 ml) two to three times daily for children under the age of 12.
2-3 teaspoonfuls (10-15 ml) three times per day for adults.
