Arginine, a conditionally essential amino acid that plays an important role in urea metabolism and excretion. It is also involved in DNA synthesis and protein production. Additionally, arginine serves as a key precursor to nitric oxide (NO), which helps in the dilation of blood vessels thus aiding and supporting blood circulation.
Recommended dosage: 2 capsules twice daily with water or juice or as directed by your doctor.
Warnings:
- Pregnant or nursing women should not use NOW L-Arginine capsules.
- Consult your doctor if taking medication (especially antihypertensives, anticoagulants, and antidiabetic drugs), have a medical condition (especially asthma or renal disease) before using.
- Do not use it if you have had a myocardial infarction or have established coronary artery disease.
- Not for use by persons with glaucoma or herpes simplex unless prescribed by your doctor.
